There’s one thing about amateur radio gear that I’ve written about previously but this is a great example of how buying good quality radios is never really a loss (except for the interest paid if using credit). The radio I bought sold for $750, which is about what they sold for brand new over a decade ago! The radio I already have would easily fetch over $700 on eBay because no one is selling ’em.
